In March 2025, Tim Draper brought Meet the Drapers—the global $1M pitch competition—to Próspera on Roatán. Filmed on the island for Season 9, the episode put Honduras’ ZEDE ecosystem on a stage that reaches tens of millions of viewers worldwide.
Among four finalists selected from more than 150 applicants, Network Bank cofounder Ken Kruger pitched a fully licensed bank built for network states, DAOs, AIs, and other non-traditional entities that legacy finance still treats as edge cases. Próspera and Infinita City partnered to host the competition in-zone. The Roatán filming produced a historic result: more startups advanced from this host venue than from any prior city on the show’s map—including New York, Dubai, and Los Angeles.
